The world’s longest veil measured was the one worn by model Anastasia Reskina of Russia. According to Guinness World Records, her veil measured an incredible 22,860 feet (6,977.7 meters) long, breaking the previous record by over 8,000 feet. Here are some key facts about Anastasia’s record-breaking veil:

• The veil was made of tulle, which is a lightweight, semi-transparent fabric often used for veils.
• Anastasia needed the help of 15 assistants to carry it and ensure it did not get tangled as she walked.
• Anastasia walked a total of 4.3 miles (7 kilometers) during the 24-hour record attempt while wearing the veil.
• It weighed a total of 198 lbs (90 kilograms) due to its massive length.
• Anastasia said wearing it made her feel like a real princess.
