We are so excited to be hosting a Maggie Sottero Trunk Show. Maggie Sottero is one of Precious Memories favorite designers and we love having events. This combines our loves. Here is some answers to questions we have been receiving.

What is a bridal shop trunk show?

A trunk show is when a designer, in this case, Maggie Sottero, sends wedding dresses that a bridal shop (Precious Memories), doesn’t have. This gives brides-to-be the opportunity to try on more variety of gowns by that designer.

Why is it called a trunk show?

The bridal gowns are usually sent in large trunks to the shop. The name just stuck.

Is there any advantage to buying at a trunk show?

Discounting dresses are not allowed by Maggie Sottero. We sign legal contracts that we won’t discount their dresses with the consequence of loosing the line. However, we are allowed to discount 10% off the gowns during this fabulous event.

Can I buy the gown that day and leave with it?

No. The trunk show gowns are samples just like the ones already at Precious Memories. Once you find your beautiful gown, we will measure to determine your size and special order it. Dresses can take up to 6 months to order. However, Maggie Sottero does have certain gowns available quicker if your timeline dictates it.

Do I need to make an appointment for the trunk show?

Yes. Because we want to make your experience special at Precious Memories and create an enjoyable shopping experience, we require appointments. It is as easy as calling us at 781-397-1336 or clicking here.

Who should I bring to my appointment?

Because you can only save on Maggie Sottero wedding dresses during a trunk show, be prepared to purchase. Thus, you should bring any VIP that you need to help you make that decision or who is paying for the gown. Although 10% may not seem like much, it can translate into hundreds so you don’t want to miss out.
